Developing Positive Relationships

This is a great site for networking, meeting new people and exchanging ideas.  The key to any thriving business is to begin by developing a sound, trusting and consistent relationship whether it’s with your vendors or customers/clients.  People want to be able to trust who they are doing business with and trust that their money is well spent.  Advertising with consistency is a sure fire way to say to the public, ‘we are serious’ about our company and the products/services we sell or provide.  It’s not enough to post an ad and expect people to line up at your storefront or overload your email with requests and purchases.  They need to know what your business is all about (store hours, policy, etc), staff, the products/services you’re selling and their benefits.  Some customers will spot a new store or website and will wait a while before making a purchase just to check out it’s credibility.

Existing customer/client relationships, even vendors need nurturing the most because you want them to return and continue to do business with you.  These customers carry with them the potential to give referrals-generating more revenue for you.  They also love recognition (and I don’t blame them).  After making a huge purchase, they want to be remembered, called by name, sent a coupon or asked if they’re product/service is working ok.

We need not to forget that building positive relationships in your business whether you’re marketing your business or taking care of existing customers is very important. It can make a huge impact on the life of your company!
